- Synopsis
- Michel Peneud is afraid of dying. He contemplates his mother’s illness, her emaciated face, her removable breast. He doesn’t want to end up like her. He’s decided to sell the family house and to move his mother to a nursing home.
  Michel starts loosing his hair and a peculiar swelling is growing in his chest.
  The symptoms remind him of his mother’s cancer.
  The doctors assure him he does not have a cancer.
  Nevertheless, they operate a biopsy on the growth in his chest.
  From that moment on Michel is convinced that he’s lost forever.
