- Synopsis
- An unconventional portrait of James Wines, a leading figure in environmental design, who, with the interdisciplinary group SITE (Sculpture In The Environment) that he founded in the early 1970s, created ephemeral works capable of intervening in the non-places on the outskirts of major American metropolises. Installations that have shaped the imagination of entire generations of artists convinced that art, in contemporary society, had been relegated to the status of merely decorative activity.
