- Synopsis
- Jack meets with Liz Johnson, an NSA operative, who explains that an obelisk with Ugaritic symbols has been found in Egypt, by Dr. Lena Halstrom, linking the pharaoh Akenaten to the lost treasure of Ugarit, Jack agrees to investigate. Jack meets up with Nadia and Tariq in Egypt. While Jack, Lena, and Nadia study the obelisk, Eyhab attempts to steal the obelisk, but Jack and the others thwart the heist only to be accused of stealing the obelisk by Dr. Said. Jack decides that they have no alternative but follow the clues to find the hidden tomb of Akhenaton. As they travel up the Nile, Riyad and his Median Soldiers board the Ferry, Jack and the other narrowly escape. On the way to the second geographical marker, they are picked up by a truck. They reach the safety of a village only to be imprisoned by Col. Mustapha. He forces Jack into leading him to the tomb, while the others are kept as hostages in jail. Riyad, still following Jack, attacks Col. Mustapha's troops allowing Jack just the diversion he needs to escape and return for his friends. Unfortunately, his friends are now prisoners of Littman, who has been following them all along. Finally, they locate the tomb but discover that it was looted by the Romans thousands of years ago. Littman seals Jack and his friends in the tomb and leaves, but on his way out he is met by Riyad and his men, who captures Littman and retrieve the scepter. Jack uses the obelisk to open the secret door into the private treasure room, but it too, has been looted. At the moment Riyad and his men enter, hoping to replace the eye of the diamond back into the Star of Heaven. Before Riyad can execute everyone, Col. Mustapha and a squad of soldiers arrive. There is a frantic shoot out, during which Riyad is captures and Littman escapes.
