    • Synopsis
    • It´s Not Vigil is a love story in the old age, a story about a crucial moment in Antonio and Felisa’s life. Both, more than 80 years old are facing their old age at the crossroad of how continue their lives now that their forces are weaken. They have been more than 60 years together and now they feel that they can’t look after themselves. Antonio and Felisa are alone, as many old people in our society. They live in a little village of Teruel, in Spain, where nights in winter can be very long. They are scared. Maybe they will have to go to a retirement home. Maybe they will have to separate for the first time of their life. That’s why their nights are wakefulness nights, nights of silence, of confessions… embraced to forget the fear and the uncertainty.
      Antonio and Felisa have let us get into their house and into their world. They have given us their time, the time necessary to wait at their side and film their feelings.
