      It’s Always Been You! is a moment in time when the spectacular meets the everyday. From the corner deli to everyone’s favorite record shop, a kaleidoscope of characters wander the hours away in a Brooklyn neighborhood. They find their place in the collage, a series of snapshots and picture postcards on a hot day as everyone boils over. Each voice, the streets, the car horns, those pigeons, the wind through the trees in a park, all are a piece of the tapestry.

      We’re guided by a ghost in the aether, Lola Montez, who presides over their experience from beyond the veil of life. She is an equal player in the drama. As the worlds merge into a digital dreamscape, a pastiche of material and thought-form, we search along with all of them for what lies beyond, outside of ourselves, and within all of us.
