    • During the 2014 World’s Cup and 2016 Olympics preparations, Rio de Janeiro’s government has iniciated an military occupation in the city communities, among them Rocinha. Soon some rumors have started about police abuse and culminated with the Amarildo’s disappearance, a contractor’s assistant. Because of his family protest, which joined the rallies across the city, the case has broke the community barriers and has bringed attention to the oppression lived by the local residents. A fascinating and brutal portrait of Rocinha, the largest favela in the country, and the touching history of its inhabitants.​
