A queen, desperate to fulfill her love, hires the sorceress who she sends to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands. With her hunter guide, she must outwit and outfight man and demon to obtain the gift of shape shifting. As they struggle to complete the mission, they find that allies and enemies can be one and the same and that nothing in this fallen world is what it seems.
