    • Synopsis
    • Sent by his mother to buy bread for lunch, seven-year-old Ahmed runs through the historic alleyways of the Yemeni town of Ibb, constantly getting distracted by everyday marvels. As he plays beads with other kids, stumbles into a funeral and listens to folktales narrated by an 82-year-old, the question of whether he’ll make it home by the time his mother’s guests arrive looms ever larger. A story of childish imagination, curiosity and wonder.
