    • After filming political footage, Myanmar filmmaker Tin Win Naing must flee his country. Unsure whether he would ever be able to see his family again, he crosses the border illegally, entering Thailand.
His camera becomes the most important tool to survive and overcome the many days away from home. He begins to follow three Myanmar migrant workers laboring under conditions of modern slavery.
In Exile guides us into the hearts and minds of a people who have lived under most tormenting circumstances, but who have emerged as fighters – fighters against despair.
