    • Synopsis
    • When wannabe New York Socialite Imogene (Wiig) attends a bridal shower, she becomes frustrated that her live-in boyfriend has not yet asked her to marry. She and her friends devise a plan to manipulate him into marrying, but the plan backfires, Imogene decides to fake her own suicide as a ploy for sympathy. Worried, her eccentric mother Zelda (Bening) kidnaps her and takes her back to her hometown. A hilarious comedy in the vein of Bridesmaids about love, family and finding your roots.
