Tomohiko starts catching up the research which another programmer, Ide, who has been working on with his other project members. Then he finds a strange red gate and noises in the shape of a person from data records of the virtual reality world, “Shin-Sekai” and ends up knowing Ide’s death at that moment; Ide and her study participant have already died on the exact same day, same time and same cause of death, but in the two different places.

Tomohiko assumes that their mysterious death is related to brainwave synchronization; the VR experiences share tendency of both physical and mental activities including even memory, thinking and emotion. He’s sure that their brain data is still alive in “Shin-Sekai”. As he inspects, he notices that the brainwave of Yuta, Shaman in the island, helps to complete all the brain data collected and reveals what the noises are, but it goes from bad to worse. That leads the island to be connected to the other world, “Shin-Sekai”, and Imajo, a vengeful ghost that curses the island comes after and dooms with violent drowning deaths.
