This documentary is an exercise in truth and restitution; it’s as close as we can get to justice for at least one of the countless victims of institutionalised European racism. This is the chronicle of an ordinary death. But most of all, it is a portrayal of Idrissa’s journey home.

    • Synopsis
    • This is the story of Idrissa Diallo a 21-year-old Guinean man who died in a migrant detention centre in Barcelona and was buried in an anonymous grave.

The Spanish Legal System had blocked all access to his police file making it nearly impossible to investigate his death.
The State never bothered to inform Idrissa’s family about the passing of their beloved son. The film crew of the documentary set out on a quest for justice, and to fulfill the moral duty that the Spanish State had neglected.
