    • Synopsis
    • Mietek Kosz was a blind pianist, a master improviser: the Polish Bill Evans. He didn’t leave that much behind: one LP and two posthumous collections of odd recordings he did throughout his short career for Polish National Television and National Radio. If Kosz were still alive, he would definitely be one of the biggest names in jazz on the world stage. However, he died young and left only a legend of a genius gone too soon.
“Icarus” is the story of a phenom and the paradox of life. It’s the emotional journey of a protagonist at odds with the obstacles he faced and with himself, with a rich soundtrack and score and a visual, ascetic depiction of the times in which the story took place.
