- Synopsis
- Esther is 17 years old and lives in a foggy mountain in the Wayrapungo community on Ecuador's Andean highlands. The recent death of her mother immerses her in a state of contemplation and silence, while the arrival of a wave of wild winds causes panic in the community. Esther must assume the complete care of the fields and the domestic animals. One night, among the grasslands, she finds a luminous creature with the head of a puma, it brings a story sent by the deceased mother. Stunned and amazed, she keeps this message as a mysterious and disturbing secret. Between the abrupt transition to maturity and a world of luminous ghosts, Esther tries to live with her particular gift: listening to messages from the dead.
