- Synopsis
- An older lady hangs herself inside a church in the remote Westfjords of Iceland. Via her suicide letter the new psychiatrist in town finds out that she was obsessed with the disappearance of her 8-year-old son, who vanished without a trace three years earlier. Across the bay to the north in an abandoned village, three city dwellers are restoring a house, strange things start happening and they realize the house is haunted. The two stories slowly intervene and it turns out that a kid named Bernodus who vanished under mysterious circumstances some 60 years earlier is the connecting link.
