    • The film begins with a romantic pledge: I can change. A promise heard all too often, a promise known to be false in advance. Amie has fallen deeply in love with Boby, a young Romanian Rom who survives through illegal activities, begging and drugs. Together, they lived out a passionate love story between the parking lot at the Gare de Lyon train station and small Parisian hotels - and still Boby has not changed. This film is about a couple whose reality is vacillating; where freedom, incarceration and spirituality go side by side. Left powerless by the failure of her love to be strong enough to change him, the director uses filmmaking as the only means possible to heal her wounds. Or perhaps to write a harrowing love letter to the man who cannot read but speaks all languages.
