    • Synopsis
    • When Tom Cathcart (Danny DeVito) retires from the fire department after 25 years, he realizes that he and his wife (Katey Sagal) have over indulged their children for too long. In their 20s, Quinn (Skyler Stone) and Eliot (Ryan Hansen) are still living at home, having their beds made, their meals cooked, and their laundry folded. When Mary rejects Tom’s idea to throw them out of the house, Tom kidnaps her, arguing that the only way they’ll become men is if they’re forced to take responsibility for their lives. And that’s only going to happen if Tom and Mary leave the house. After failing at various attempts to make money, Quinn and Eliot decide to rent out rooms in the house. Through interaction with the boarders, and resolving the conflicts that arise out of this new living situation, Eliot and Quinn learn how to responsibly cope with their professional and emotional lives, and move out of the house.
