    • Synopsis
    • Colette runs a coffee shop that is home to her secret and famous hot chocolate recipe. She finds a nemesis in Marcus, a new dessert shop owner who draws her customers with his own specialty hot chocolate. Colette tries it out and swears he’s stolen her hot chocolate recipe, which came from her beloved grandmother. Colette is determined to expose him and make him pay, but she can’t stay upset at Marcus, who politely refuses to be mean back to her. He strives to win her over and Colette finally gives him a chance when his store suffers damage from a burst pipe and has to close. She helps to repair his store, and discovers that his recipe came from her grandmother also. She learns her grandmother lived next door to him when he was a child. Her grandmother helped look after him when his father had to work. With newfound understanding and respect, Colette starts to fall in love with Marcus. However, then the costs of repair exceed what Marcus can afford, and he’s faced with shuttering his store forever. Colette doesn’t want him to give up. But it’s out of his control. On the eve of Christmas, Marcus faces defeat. Colette offers him a heartfelt gift: to run her shop with her, with him focusing on desserts, her on coffee, and together serving their customers their inherited secret hot chocolate recipe.
