- Synopsis
- In the heart of deep Brittany, an eco-journalist, Marlène, is trying to shoot a documentary on a nuclear scandal involving the region's power station. She tries to convince a retired nuclear physics engineer, Yvon Lebras, to testify.
  But the old man, overwhelmed by many misfortunes, accuses the old Breton witchcraft of being the cause of all his ills and denies responsibility for nuclear power, especially in his health problems or in the cancer that killed his wife.
  The journalist, convinced that the old man is manipulated by his entourage - an exorcist priest, a healer - as much as he is blinded by his unwavering faith in the nuclear industry, accumulates the evidence against the plant while fighting against those she considers obscurantists.
  On this land of swamps and mists, the journalist will nevertheless note with a fascination mixed with dread the effective reality of the power of sorcerers. She will even find herself closely involved in it.
  Despite the confusion that seizes her, Marlène will try to disentangle the true from the false before understanding that the origins of the evil are multiple: the new "sorcerer's apprentices" of the nuclear power plant have released an energy which, without knowing it, reinforces the power of ancient sorcery.
  After having made public several serious failures of the plant, the journalist participates in a sacrificial magic ritual which will allow the curse weighing on old Yvon to be broken.
