    • Risa Nishimura was pronounced by her doctor that her daughter, Honoka Nishimura, was close to brain death immediately after birth due to problems during childbirth.
      Risa and her father, Hidekatsu Nishimura, were unable to accept the reality immediately after the birth, but as they watched their daughter who is living a healthy life, they decided to nurture her together. Honoka is still living at home on a ventilator.
      However, most of their daily lives are spent taking care of her, and the parents cannot get enough sleep. In addition, her existence is often seen with a negative consciousness, as if her parents force her to live. Even so, Honoka's body is growing like a normal child's, her body temperature is warm, and she is beginning to move her hands. No one knows if Honoka has her own will or not, but her various growths and changes make her parents happy.
      Honoka gets sick easily and her life is in danger every year. Every time this happens, Risa feels sorrowful, but she vows to continue to nurture Honoka to the best of her ability until the end of Honoka's life, which is precious because it is limited.
      Time has passed, and Honoka turned six years old and entered a special support education school. As the seasons come and go, the family continues to mark the passage of time together with the memories they have accumulated.
