- Synopsis
- It’s a make-or-break weekend for the
  Honeydripper and its owner Tyrone Purvis.
  Deep in debt, Tyrone announces to his
  sidekick Maceo that he has hired the
  famous guitar player, Guitar Sam,
  for a special one night only gig.
  Just a couple of days before this major
  weekend for the Honeydripper, young
  Sonny arrives in town a rather unusual guitar.
  Looking for work, he asks for Tyrone’s help,
  only to be arrested by local Sheriff Pugh,
  who sends him cotton picking.
  It’s now the morning of the big night,
  and Guitar Sam is nowhere to be found.
  Tyrone will have to use all his wits to
  come up with a new scheme—
  one that will save the club and
  help launch a new musical era.
