- Synopsis
- Twelve years ago, Suyi’s father left without saying goodbye and has been lost ever since. Some said he took a strange woman to Hong Kong with him; others say her mother killed her husband. As an adult, Suyi works in end-of life care in Hong Kong, still unable to forgive her mother and believing that her father should be living elsewhere. Hearing that her mother is dying, she has to return to the hometown to unravel the mystery of her father's disappearance.Did her mother commit an unforgivable crime? Why did the father leave without saying goodbye? As reality and memory continue to intertwine, she gradually sketches the image of a strange father.
