- Synopsis
- They say you can’t go home again but that’s exactly what Alice does after she separates from her husband and moves from New York to Los Angeles with her two young daughters. In a warm, comedic take on starting over, Alice seems to face fresh challenges every day. She has a new job that isn’t what she’d hoped, her kids anxiously attend a new school in LA, and her ex-husband who promised to relocate with them still hasn’t made the trip west.
  
  After a night out on her birthday, Alice finds she has an altogether new problem when she meets Harry Dorsey, a charming and irresistible twenty-something aspiring film director. Harry, along with his younger brother Teddy (an actor) and his best friend George (a screenwriter) have newly arrived in LA to try to make it in the movie business. The boys are funny, sweet and desperately in need of a place to stay as their funds have run dry. Alice agrees to let them stay in her guest house temporarily, but the arrangement ends up unfolding in unexpected ways...
