    • Synopsis
    • Lou 27, is a loner who lives in the city with her mother. One day she finds out that her grandmother Frida, who she has been told is since long past away, is very much alive and living in a remote village by the sea. In search of a change in her life, Lou, against her mothers will, accepts the invitation to go stay with Frida.
Frida is a newly become widow who suppresses her sorrow, by substituting her late husband with 10 year old Tom, a boy who is happy to have someone call in sick for him at school. Frida and Tom’s rowdy search of trying to find something that Tom is good at, on top of the never before encountered interest Lou receives from Henrik, one of the very few their age living in the village, is both confusing and stressful for the otherwise socially isolated Lou.
For the first time in her life, Lou is forced outside of her comfort zone, as her presence and behavior have effect on other people than only herself.
Home is a warm and humorous drama about human behavior, love and loss.
