    • Set in 1975, HIGH CHICAGO follows Sam, a gambler who spends most of his evenings at his buddy Popeye's unlawful gaming house. Despite his wife's objections to his late night lifestyle, he puts up a large amount of cash on a horse… and wins. Cash in hand, he realizes that the time is right to fulfill his dream of opening a drive-in movie theater in Africa, a scheme hatched during his time in the navy. When a high roller stops in at his regular game, Sam thinks his luck is made. But luck isn't always what it seems when Sam's best laid plans, and life, are added to the poker table.
