    • Synopsis
    • Erin, a British-Chinese woman living in London volunteers for Samaritans to do something more meaningful. She’s fed up with her job selling package tours to Chinese tourists and Samaritans is a charity where people with mental health problems can call up at anytime and just talk. One day when she’s working there, she gets a suicide call where she recognises the voice - it belongs to a Chinese lover she hasn’t seen in decades. But because of the Samaritans’ strict anonymity rules, she isn’t allowed to reveal her identity without losing her job. So, she starts to track him down in London and from there the film turns into a love story where Erin is held back by her serious self-confidence issues; she is a left behind child who was abandoned by her father when she was very young, and so this Chinese man she reconnects with in London becomes her way of unfurling her identity and resolving a long forgotten past.
