- Synopsis
- Far from civilisation, surrounded by pristine nature, a dad (40) and a son (11) pull up a tent. They are looking forward to a weekend long overdue. A time for just the two of them. A forest, a river, a bow and arrow and camp fire. No musts, alarms, morning rush, rides to sport practices, WhatsApp groups, notifications, shops, music schools, laundry, cleaning, recycling, setting the table, lunch discussions, fights over candy, dinner discussions, putting away toys, Netflix, video games, homework hassle, paying bills, cleaning the room, going to bed on time. A weekend set apart from the grind called – life. A weekend both of them dream about. As the weekend progresses, the camp idyll is ‘disturbed’ first by the brother’s and then the sister’s arrival. The relationship dynamics changes, arguments follow, just like making up, anger, jokes and fun, interwoven with endless questions each of which begins with: “Hey, Dad…”
