    • Synopsis
    • 2020: The covid-19 pandemic has thrown the world into a state of emergency, and the Trump / Biden election is drawing near. In Norway, the government plans to electrify the country’s oil platforms in a desperate attempt at greenwashing. Meanwhile, at a business school in Oslo, executive Margaret plans a teambuilding event that can solve conflicts among her colleagues. Although not much of a gardener herself, she believes that planting something together is what will reconcile them. She contacts a horticultural centre who are more than willing to cash in on her plans.

However, the planning seems to take forever, and as fall becomes winter, and then spring, a quite different initiative emerges among the school’s students. Long stuck on digital learning platforms because the administration wants to save money, they start sneaking into the school-building, organising classes in alternative economy and deconstructing texts by Milton Friedman to understand the world they’ve inherited.
With the student rebellion well under way, Margaret’s teambuilding finally becomes reality. It turns out far more transformative than she could imagine: a larger-than-life live event led by a group of subversive theatre artist disguised as teambuilders. Blindfolded and bewildered, Margaret and her reluctant colleagues are invited into a mysterious world of myth, humour, ritual, friendship, and rebirth – physically and mentally – into a different way of being and relating.
