    • Synopsis
    • Ismael, 22, son of parents who had to migrate from Ecuador of the 90's, has grown under the protection and care of his grandmother Mariana. His grandmother, female carrier of ancestral wisdom regarding the medicinal power of plants, healer, woman of peace; she is also a teacher of Ismael in medical power of plants, something he has disbelieved.

      Luz, his best friend and confident, also you had to travel outside the country. Some years later, he decides to follow the footsteps of his parents and become a migrant to. In her internal struggle, having already agreed with the coyote value and date of travel, Luz returns.

      She becomes the force that slowly fills with questions Ismael believes, also opens the possibility of converting into something profitable for Ismael what he always null importance: the medicine of his grandmother.

      Ismael and Luz take us for a ride around the Andes, full of beautiful landscapes, quirky characters and stories. They find Soledad, a young artist who run aways from her village and decides not no deal with all her neighbors and its critical and outdated look, breaking with her fears and attachments. Discover the beautiful story of "Lord of the Waters", part of the rich oral tradition of Azuay, where an entire community raises to authoritarian power and manages to get the water that always belonged to them. We know about the dangers of adulterated liquor as we move into the legend of "La Caja Ronca" where the protagonists face the death almighty who comes to collect the karma chasing them.

      All stories told through the eyes of Ismael, who contribute significantly in the course of events.
