- Synopsis
- When overprotective mother, Maggie (Nia Vardalos), finds out her son’s chances of getting a college scholarship are increased if he is a minority, she devises a plan to feign his gayness to help pay for school. It’s a mother and son battle as the son inconveniently meets the girl of his dreams and tries to prove his real identity, all the while his mom tries desperately to prevent the truth from coming out.
