    • Synopsis
    • A romantic comedy where love and fate are intertwined until the end.
Matthew , a genuine, incurable romantic, is in perpetual pursuit of ideal love, but usually ends up losing touch with reality. He works for Twinkled, a kitschy vintage shop on the verge of bankruptcy, around which revolves a bunch of unique and odd characters, part of a colorful and nostalgic world.
Meanwhile, co-worker Franki, a sexy 25-year-old skateboarder, writes passionate love letters to Jude Law, and shop owner Stefano, totally absorbed by his marriage crisis, has no head for business. Each of their lives is as disorganized as the store. That is, until, Camilla arrives.
Sweet and daydreamer , the young woman quickly brings order to the shop—and day after day falls in love with Matthew, blind to her affection and still in love with Joan, the girl who broke his heart a year before. When everything seems to be getting better in the lives of our romantic characters a series of unexpected events lead to a bittersweet ending. With a fun indie soundtrack including Devendra Banhart, Laura Marling, and Imelda May, Hayfever is a romantic film about dreamers who harbor passions that are close by, yet seemingly out of reach.
