In 1968 The Last Poets defined the political upheaval of a generation of Black people.
When their first album was released in 1970 founding member Abiodun Oyewlole was in prison for robbing the KKK.
In prison, Abiodun refused to serve time, instead making time serve him. A deep influence on Hip Hop.
