    • Synopsis
    • In the near future, criminals and the mentally ill are treated at the same facility.
Corrupt administrators offset costs by farming out patients/inmates for clandestine experiments.
These “volunteers” are offered privileges in return for their service.

Seven institutionalized individuals awake in a lightless cell with shaved heads, suffering from atrophy.
They must find their way out of the cell and into an enclosed, self-sufficient Habitat.
Each identical Habitat has a resident cat and a supply of important essentials to survive for one hundred lunar days. Days and weeks pass as the clever participants calendar the time passing, each falling into a routine reflective of their individual traits.

Each volunteer adapts differently, some better than others.
On Day 50, an alarm rings out revealing a catastrophic error in the Habitat’s life support system.
Each volunteer must overcome their personal flaws and face their fears in order to escape, or face certain death.

Habitat is a unique single-location product that’s both entertaining as well as building an original content franchise. Habitat will drive audience engagement and social awareness toward global issues including forced isolation, government control, questionable drug testing and undiagnosed mental illness.
