    • Synopsis
    • Year 2100. NATIVO (33) survives with NATIVA (25) in a world turned into a desert due to the extreme temperatures caused by the greenhouse effect. They belong to a forgotten nomadic community, migrate looking for winter, but have been relegated from the group due to Nativa's advanced pregnancy.
Refugees are found in a cave, they feed only on seeds brought from more fertile regions. But these seeds, their only provisions to survive the desert crossing, are eaten by a hungry IGUANA.
Although this reptile is considered an extinct and sacred animal in its culture, Native goes out to hunt it since they need food. Native, dehydrated, awaits him in the cave.
Native, after the iguana, survives of extreme heat by taking refuge in the shadows of the hills. This journey is progressively transformed into a frantic persecution that leads to the brink of death due to extreme heat and lack of water.
ELIZABETH (40), a scientist who wears a protective suit, investigates the conditions of the region in a vehicle. She is the only scientist who has decided to stay in a small base in the desert. Its mission is to rescue species, classified as extinct.
Elizabeth helps Nativo, collapsed in a desert plain and sunburned. They look for Nativa and undertake a trip to the base but the vehicle fails in the middle of an infinite and sunny plain. There the baby is born, Nativa dies in childbirth.
Elizabeth requests a ransom but receives no response. Time passes and with the vehicle already without refrigeration, they decide to cover the baby with a thermal blanket, the only one there is, and seek shelter on foot.
Elizabeth, exhausted by the walk, hands her protective suit to Nativo and then dies due to lethal sun exposure.
Native, finally, takes refuge with the baby in the shadow of some hills. There he finds the iguana but decides not to kill her.
Descend a drone or ship, Nativo has the possibility of being helped by this civilization, but decides to continue traveling with the baby, trying to reach the nomadic community.
