    • Synopsis
    • Wei Fei, an almost 40-year-old struggling screenwriter, has been navigating the ups and downs of Beijing for years. Recently, his luck has finally turned—he has a science fiction film he wrote set to be released soon. Lost in the euphoria of imminent success, Wei Fei finds his world turned upside down when his father, Lao Wei, unexpectedly arrives in Beijing with a mysterious antique in tow, disrupting his carefully crafted routine. Wei Fei, consumed by his aspirations, neglects his father, opting instead to drown himself in alcohol and avoid returning home. Left to fend for himself, Lao Wei roams the streets of Beijing with the antique in search of potential buyers.

Like two parallel streams, father and son flow independently until the currents of destiny bring them together on a pivotal day.
