- Synopsis
- Elina is 60 years old, she left Kharkov in February 2022 with her daughter because of the bombing. In times of peace, they happened to visit Turkey. And since Elina’s daughter fell in love with Istanbul, they went there from Ukraine, although the country does not provide much support. Elina is a psychologist, she continues her practice and conducts online sessions. In Turkey, Elina and her daughter were literally “adopted” by a local family with a daughter-in-law who had long since left Russia. Elina and her daughter live in the house of this Turkish family.
  Olesya is from Siberia, she is 38 years old, she left Russia after the start of the war. Her family has radically opposite opinions regarding what happened, and her relationship with her parents was difficult. Olesya is an engineer and German language teacher, but being in Turkey, she is torn between several jobs in online customer support services. She recently got a Turkish boyfriend, but she is forced to leave Turkey in the near future.
  
  A story about two hostile countries, two women fleeing the devastation of war and the Istanbul that welcomes them.
