- Synopsis
- Pasquale Cardinale, marshal of the forestry, widower and father of a demanding and problematic daughter,
  victim of gambling, to settle his debts makes some fatal mistakes, that cause his dismissal when he is close to retirement. Without alternatives and pressed by loan sharks, he finds himself forced to pass on the other side of the barricade, becoming part of a gang of old poachers, specialized in the capture of valuable goldfinches.
