    • Synopsis
    • A young politician who is considering accepting a bribe; a girl looking for love; a divorce lawyer at a crossroads; a petty thief who wants to steal a reliquary with the Blood of Christ; a married couple who long for a baby; a woman with a past and a man who struggles with his gambling addiction. What do all these people have in common?

Bóg w Krakowie (God in Cracow) tells a story of God’s Mercy and human longing for the Lord. It is set in modern times in an enchanting, mysterious, mystical city, which was chosen for the capital of the Divine Mercy by the Lord himself. As the paths of the characters cross, they are influenced by great saints, including saint John Paul II, saint Albert Chmielowski, saint Hedwig, saint Faustina Kowalska and even saint Rita. The incredible story plays out against a background of mystical places: in front of the Black Christ’s crucifix, a miraculous statue of Infant Jesus or the portrait of Our Lady of Freedom in the church of saint John the Baptist and saint John the Evangelist.

Bóg w Krakowie (God in Cracow) is a story about faith, hope, forgiveness, dedication, love and freedom. The warm and emotional movie, written and directed by Dariusz Regucki, features a stellar cast of actors, including Dorota Pomykała, Jerzy Trela, Kamila Baar, Radosław Pazura, Piotr Cyrwus, Edward Linde-Lubaszenko, Karolina Chapko, Maciej Słota and many more.

The movie received an honorary patronage of Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz. The world premiere is set to take place in May 2016, two months prior to World Youth Day hosted by the city.

The producer of the movie, the Rafael Association, was also responsible for the production and distribution of a 2014 picture Karolina based on the biography of blessed Karolina Kózka. The biopic was well received by the Polish audience.
