GLAUBER, CLARO composes the portrait of the greatest exponent of Brazilian cinema of all times, Glauber Rocha, in his Italian experience in parallel with his penultimate feature film CLARO (1975). This documentary brings back Rocha and his generation through memories by friends, collaborators and people who loved him, revealing unpublished facts from his years of exile till his rage at the 1980 Venice Film Festival. Rocha, sometimes hated or glorified, but almost always misunderstood made an essential contribution for the cinema worldwide, making it move forward, because only those who are so daring to believe that they can change the world, really succeed.
