How are women rewriting their own stories, as an era of Trumpian politics rolls back rights, and raises new anxieties? In 2015, filmmaker Nora Philippe embarked on a ten-year project to follow the lives of four politically active young women, as she raised her own daughter. The students of Barnard, a women’s college in New York City, channel outrage into a groundswell of protest movements, and carve their own paths beyond graduation to advocate for change. Their deeply personal shared reflections form an evolving cinematic archive for their collective future, and a sorority of support.
