    • GET THE PICTURE is directed by Cathy Pearson and funded by RTE and the Irish Film Board.
      It is about the remarkable life and work of John G Morris, journalist and picture editor of Life magazine who is probably one of the last living journalists involved in the D-Day Normandy landings.
      He worked alongside many of the greatest names in 20th Century photography including Magnum founders Henri-Cartier Bresson and Robert Capa and many of the great war photographers. John worked at Life Magazine during some of the most turbulent and momentous moments in 20th Century history including the Spanish Civil War, World War II, Vietnam, and Korea and he provides a unique insight into the power of photography.
      The film includes interviews and contributions from some of the most renowned names in photojournalism, including Marc Riboud, Martine Franck, Don McCulin, Yann Arthus Bertrand, Paulo Pellegrin and many others.
