- Haruko Shibuya is a “mundane and ordinary” high school student who “feels as if I've been left behind in scrap-and-build Tokyo.” One day, coming back from shopping, she meets Kenichi Kanagawa and falls in love with him at first sight. She believes it is “the love of the century” and becomes infatuated with him. Kenichi, who everyone thought was a serious-minded student preparing for his college entrance exam, suddenly quits school. High on his new-found freedom, he meets Mayumi, a femme fatale, and falls for her. As they excitedly flounder around the streets of the ever-changing Tokyo, what will happen to the love between Georama Boy (Kenichi) and Panorama Girl (Haruko), who are seemingly at cross-purposes?
