- Synopsis
- They were sworn to protect him with their lives – orphans raised by the Khan’s own mother. A brotherhood born in the Khan’s battles, where their fathers had died either for him or against him. Destined to become his closest advisers and officials one unit of Ten (an Aravt) faces a desperate mission on the personal orders of Genghis himself. Ordered to locate a skilled doctor who lives in a forest. En route, they discover an abandoned baby, who they take in and hope to make him a member of their community. But he is lost not abandoned and his father a sworn enemy of the Mongol Khan swears to get his son back and kill the men he believes have stolen him. A stirring story of comradeship and parenthood amongs the blood-soaked steppes of the Mongol empire.
