- GARDEL, THE RETURN that I have written about an 80-year-old Gardel who has lived in hiding in the United States, disfigured in the terrible plane crash in Colombia where he was presumed dead in 1935. In 1970, he decides to reappear and appear to apologize for the deception , and say goodbye to his audience in the cities of Latin America, Europe and the US, which acclaimed him so much. 35 years have passed and now he feels the urgent need to recover his live audience for the last time ... He is a character who has lived hidden for years of great political, cultural and sporting events, with the advent of television as a means of mass communication, and on whom he expresses his opinion, from the times when he was an idol in life, adored in all our countries
