    • Synopsis
    • 1940. Joan Pujol, high school drop out, manager of a chicken farm and hotel concierge, begins to plan his contribution to the “welfare of mankind”. He decides to offer himself to the British “to help them out” but his naïve plan is a complete failure. Rather than give up, he sets out to convince the Nazis that he’s a fascist who can spy on their behalf. He unexpectedly succeeds, and is employed by the Abwehr – codename: “Arabal”.
After a series of adventures, Pujol is discovered by the British Intelligence who take him on as a double agent – codename: “Garbo”. From London he makes the Third Reich believe that the Normandy Invasions are only conceived to divert attention, thus setting up the Allied Victory on D-day.
