- Garbage Man is the story of an unlikely hero, hidden among the refuse of a forgotten Italy. It is a distinct drama, a film about vengeance which builds upon works like Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs as well as Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive and Only God Forgives, while taking a deep dive into Italy’s suburban landscape, a marginalized world abandoned to itself and its own rules.
