    • This that was made in Charente-Maritime; on the French Atlantic Coast, where the ocean joins the Oléron Island and the Royan area, recounts a whole year in the life of oysters farmers, also known as sea farmers. Jean-Paul Jaud managed to film a country and its inhabitants with a warm glance. This gives to his documentary an intimate and impressionistic touch, close to fiction and very far from the traditional TV reports. Day after day, tides fix the meal times and we have this special feeling to share with the oyster farmers their passion for their job, and their country
