Teenagers Raakel and Maria have been brought up in a conservative religious community where extra marital sex, alcohol and even dancing to 'rhythmic' music is strictly forbidden. When Maria breaks free on a quest for discovery in the big city, Raakel tags along to keep an eye on her. What they find is a reality both harsh and exciting. The temptations that life throws at them are exhilarating but at the same time they must wrestle with the moralistic brainwashing that has hitherto ruled their lives. The girls must choose - the restricted life of their religious community, with its inherent securities, or a life of sensual pleasure out in the big bad world.
