- Synopsis
- Shizuko is the beloved wife of famous art gallery owner Takayoshi Toyama. Shizuko is the picture of propriety in front of her husband, but this is because she is anxious for him not to worry about his own impotence. She is enveloped on a daily basis by the sexual fantasies that boil up from within her.
  
  One day Toyama asks Shizuko to go to Paris for him. He wants her to meet with a down-and-out artist who is struggling, Ryosuke Ikegami. Ikegami refuses her commission to create a new picture at first, but his heart is moved by the beautiful face of Shizuko. Visiting Ikegami’s apartment for a second time, Shizuko poses for him in a variety of ways, as he takes picture after picture as if playing with her. She then finds herself stripped naked, and bound tightly with rope. “I must pull through this to see that he produces a picture that will enthrall my husband.” Shizuko becomes embroiled and fascinated in Ikegami and his work.
  
  On the day the picture is completed, Shizuko goes to Ikegami’s apartment, only for him to tell her he wants to sell it on the black market, saying he wants to know his own worth. Shizuko is enticed by Sayoko, Ikegami’s sister, to a chateau on the outskirts of Paris that is the auction site for art dealers. There she sees the picture she modeled for right before her eyes, an exact copy of the picture “Peeled Shrimp Contortions” she has brought to the auction herself! Seeking to ensure the future of her beloved Ikegami as an artist, Shizuko submits her body to the auctioneer to prove that her picture is the true masterpiece. But a malicious shadow hangs over every aspect of the auction dealings.
