- Synopsis
- An earthquake triggers two massive explosions at a chemical plant in Guancheng, the entire industrial park is struck hard by the hazard, while a neighbouring school is engulfed in flames.
  
  Firefighters Captain Zhao (Wang) and Vice-Captain Liu (Yu) arrive quickly on the scene but the latter soon finds himself trapped under debris. At the same time, chemical engineer Ye (Tong), accompanied by the Fire Department’s Han (Du), assess the situation. Faced by a huge blaze, Zhao and Han must hold the fire at bay until reinforcements arrive. But time is against them as the flames are fast approaching a hazardous area and if not stopped, will cause the mother of all explosions.
